Located on the north end of the Isle of Skye, with outstanding views of the Trotternish hills.

Cnoc an t-sithean is gaelic for fairy hill which is the name of the small hillock next to the cottage, which has recently been renovated to a high standard.

Ellishadder is 16 miles from the island capital of Portree, our cottage is situated amidst the wonderful scenery and rock formations of Staffin, a traditional crofting township on the Island of Skye, this well presented, tastefully refurbished croft house enjoys a peaceful location with wonderful views. Enjoy walking in the spectacular Quiraing or stroll along Staffin Bay which is a 40 minute walk away. Take a day trip on the ferry to the Outer Hebrides and visit Lewis or Harris or even the Isle of Raasay. Go canoeing or pony trekking. Shop 500 yards, pub 6 miles and most importantly visit the fantastic Staffin museum!
